How Dexcom G7 works

  1. Fast and easy to use Application: The applicator inserts the built-in sensor underneath the skin.
  2. All-in-one wearable sensor: The sensor provides real-time glucose readings up to every 5 minutes without requiring finger pricks. It may be worn for up to 10 days, plus a 12-hour grace periodat the end.
  3. Display Device:  Dexcom G7 users have the option to view their real-time glucose data on a compatible smart phone and/or watch.


Dexcom G7 is already compatible with the latest Apple iPhones, many popular Android devices, and our teams are working hard to continue to expand smartphone compatibility as quickly as possible. 

For those whose smart device is not currently compatible with Dexcom G7, you can still start Dexcom G7 with the newly redesigned G7 receiver that is smaller, with a more vibrant, easier to read display.
